Open Enrollment for 2022-2023
1st Round Lottery Application Dates (January 4 – February 18, 2022)
- Attention 8th graders! Are you interested in attending a Career Academy, IB High School, or Magnet/Choice School for 9th grade? Make sure you apply!
- Apply online or submit a paper application. To be considered for the 1st Lottery, apply between Jen 4 – Feb 18, 2022!
- Parents – To apply online, you must have an active Parent Portal Account. If you do not have Parent Portal, visit https://polkschoolsfl.com/parentportal/and refer to the section titled “Create a Parent Portal Account.” Visit the LCMA front office with your picture ID to obtain your PIN #.
- 1st round lottery acceptance notifications are scheduled to be sent March 28, 2022. Families have 10 business days to accept the seat. Applicants not accepted will remain in the applicant pool for subsequent lotteries.
- Please note: Families are responsible for transportation to out-of-zone Career Academies!
